Meet Marsha & Papa 🌿

Marsha and Papa are a peaceful, easygoing pair of gliders who have truly perfected the art of cozy living. If you spend a few minutes watching them, you might wonder where they are at first. More often than not, they’re exactly where they want to be: tucked together in their sleeping pouch, warm, comfortable, and perfectly content.
When evening arrives, they venture out one at a time to grab a snack, enjoy dinner, or make a quick potty trip before returning to their favorite cozy spot. Occasionally they’ll take a run on their wheel, and every now and then Marsha decides it’s worth taking a leisurely stroll around the cage to see what’s happening before settling back in beside Papa.
During the day, opening their pouch is usually met with two sleepy little faces peeking back at you. They’ll politely acknowledge your visit, but unless you’ve arrived with treats, they’re generally content to continue their nap.
Papa is wonderfully laid back and has never met a snack he didn’t appreciate. Marsha shares his calm personality but is just a little more curious, making her the one most likely to investigate the cage before deciding that the pouch is still the best place to be.
One of our favorite things about them is treat time. If either of them happens to be lying on their back in the pouch when a treat appears, they don’t see any reason to get up. They’ll happily stay exactly where they are, enjoying their snack from the comfort of their little bed. It never fails to make us smile.
If we had to choose what we’d miss most, it would be the peaceful presence they bring to the glider room. Marsha and Papa are wonderfully quiet, never seem to look for trouble, and are perfectly happy with a clean cage, a good meal, and a comfortable place to sleep. They’re the kind of gliders who remind you that sometimes a simple, contented life is the very best one.
